Alex Fischer has been interested in the capturing of a moment, spending summers photographing on the beautiful Georgian Bay, Canada, growing up with magnificent turn of the century architecture in Buffalo, NY, and living the past 21 years in political Washington, DC. Initially he was inspired by the provocative street life photography of Milton Rogovin, his optometrist, and the award winning child photography of his god mother, Anita Sperber.

Alex trained on a 35mm Canon AE-1, however, for graphics work he switched to digital photography and is currently shooting with a Canon 20D back. AFischer Photography specializes in event photography, and branching out to families and children, news and editorial. Additionally, he enjoys nature and is now bringing my camera everywhere. “I love experimenting with shadows and contrast, using angles of natural light to better define the feel of the moment.”
